STEP ONE: SCHEDULING YOUR SESSION

SESSION FEE $150

My newborn portrait sessions are approximately 2 hours in the studio, with a wide variety of simple and safe setups for the baby as well as plenty of time for family photos. I have a large selection of backdrops, wraps, and simple props. You are also more than welcome to bring along anything special that you would like to incorporate into the photos.

Unlike all of my other sessions, we don't ever pick a specific date until the baby has arrived (they tend to be a bit unpredictable!). I do recommend "booking" a session in advance, which guarantees you a session date within two weeks of the arrival date. The most ideal time for a session is between 7-14 days old, but I'm completely flexible if circumstances do not allow for that timeline.

STEP TWO: THE SESSION

Once you have officially booked your session, I'll send a "getting ready" guide that walks you through everything from how to plan naps and feedings on the day of the session to what to wear for the family photos. This typically answers the majority of the questions that come up, but I'm always happy to chat if you need additional guidance.

On the day of the session, you can plan on approximately 2 hours for the shoot. That allows plenty of time for diaper changes, feedings, or anything else that might come up while still getting a nice variety of setups with both the baby alone and the family.

STEP THREE: THE FUN PART

Within a couple of weeks of your session, you'll receive an email letting you know that your photos are ready. Once you've had a charge to see them and marvel a bit, you'll select your collection. After that, you'll have a full month to select the specific digital files and print items you want to use to fill that collection–zero pressure! If you are like me and like to see and feel things like album covers and paper types, I have samples of all the products I offer in the studio. You are always welcome to set up a time to stop in. If you would prefer to set up an appointment at the studio to order, that's cool too!

COLLECTION A - $325

• Choice of 10 high-resolution digital image files with print release
• $125 gift credit good toward your choice of anything in the gallery store: prints, frames, albums, digital files, etc.

COLLECTION B- $475

• Choice of 25 high-resolution digital image files with print release
• $250 gift credit good toward your choice of anything in the gallery store: prints, frames, albums, digital files, etc.

COLLECTION C- $625

• Entire gallery of high-resolution digital image files with print release
• $500 gift credit good toward your choice of anything in the gallery store: prints, frames, albums, etc.

What you are going to do with your images is possibly the most important aspect to consider when planning for a photo session, but it's also too often the aspect overlooked. The time and money invested deserve a better return than the photo files gathering dust on a hard drive somewhere. I've lost count on the number of times I've had past clients embarrassingly admit that they did absolutely nothing with their image files, even though they absolutely loved the photos.

This is where I can help. I make sure every print and product is produced to perfection. I can make adjustments to the cropping, color and offer retouching as needed. This is your chance to press the easy button and let me take care of all the work, while still providing access to your collection of digital images.
