Half Session

Half sessions are perfect for a simple update and short attention spans. While they are less customized, it’s an affordable, low-stress option and provides a stunning collection of images for your family.

  • Lincoln locations only
  • Weekdays only

Extended Family

$575

Extended family sessions are customized to each group. During the session, I will photograph all of your requested groupings from individuals, couples, immediate families, and the entire extended family.

FAQ’s

Weather conditions can significantly impact the session, and I certainly don’t want anyone to be uncomfortable. If it’s extremely hot, cold, windy, or raining, we can always reschedule. Even an overcast day can be less than ideal if you are looking for gorgeous backlit images. I want the best possible photos, and if the weather is likely to be a significant factor in the day’s success, I will often recommend rescheduling the session for another date.

In the case of illness or injury, I will always recommend rescheduling. We want everyone to be at their best for the appointment.

I reserve at least one day each week specifically for rescheduling, so even in my busiest season, I can typically find a new date within a week or two.

My best advice is to pick something for one person and let that “inspire” the selections for everyone else. The key is not to match but to coordinate. I would recommend picking a color scheme with four or five colors that are related (like pastels, bold/rich colors, or various shades of blues and purples). There are so many great options, and I’m more than happy to help you with specific ideas.

Yes, I am more than happy to travel for sessions. While I am based in Lincoln, a large portion of my sessions are on location throughout the southeast Nebraska area. I always love the opportunity to work in new places. There are no travel fees for locations within a 40-mile radius of Lincoln. Beyond that, my travel fee is $ 0.75 per mile.

Yep! All sessions include the full gallery of edited high-resolution digital images. You are free to print and share the photos.

Yes, I offer professional prints and products through my gallery website. All sessions include a complimentary print/product credit as a little incentive to make sure your photos are printed and displayed.

For the best light, outdoor sessions are typically scheduled in the evening within a few hours of sunset. Studio sessions are more flexible.

To officially reserve a session date, I require a signed contract and retainer payment, which can be done entirely online. Get in touch to check my availability!

The Process

Inquire and reserve your session date

First, get in touch to check my availability. During the summer and fall seasons, I’m often booked a couple of months in advance. I’ll get back to you right away with potential dates, and we can discuss your ideas.

When you are ready to move forward with booking, you can easily sign a contract and pay the retainer online.

Prepare for your session

Before your session, I’m here to guide you through location ideas, outfit selection, and we can talk about any other ideas or questions you might have. I will also send a guide of helpful advice to help make the session a success.

My goal is to provide a fun, easy experience for your family, and one way to accomplish that is to be sure you feel prepared. I’m here to help, however you may need me.

Enjoy the experience

I want your session to be an enjoyable, stress-free experience. While I know not everyone loves being in front of the camera, I’ve heard over and over again that the session was actually a great time. There may be a lot of laughing and possibly a little chaos, but the final result will be amazing.

After the session, I’ll get to work right away on editing your images. Your full gallery will be ready within two weeks. All sessions include a complimentary print/product credit as a way to encourage your photos to live somewhere beyond your hard drive.
